Founder and Managing partner, Zaura Villagomez, spent her years learning the ins and out of criminal justice system since starting her undergrad education at the University of Houston. Zaura or "Z" started her Criminal Law career in 2008 working under former prosecutors as a Criminal Law paralegal at Greco Neyland, PC. After graduating with her Bachelors in Political Science, and minor in Psychology she attended ULV - Law School. During law school she took a position at the Riverside County Public Defender's Office where she represented defendant's charged with Misdemeanor and Felonies, specifically those not competent to stand trial. Zaura has gone above and beyond to prepare for her profession as a Criminal Defense Attorney. She has gone through the same training police officers go through to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Testing as required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. She is a member of the National College of DUI Defense, and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, among others. She received the Elite Lawyer Award for her work in Criminal Law in 2020.
Zaura's experience in the private and government sector set the course for VillaMont Law Firm. Zaura realized that while private and government sectors have their good and bad, they both leave out the hard working middle class. Zaura made it her prerogative to provide the middle class with fervid, and aggressive representation. She gets results for those who have been left to fight for themselves.
Zaura defends the accused of criminal charges in Los Angeles and surrounding counties. Zaura works her cases by conducting an independent thorough investigation, apart from the initial police investigation.
